Happy Holicraze

The lights have been strung, and shopping has begun. I managed to get most of my holiday shopping done online, but I did (& still will) have to brave the mall for a few gifts. Word of advice for anyone who has to go to the mall during the holidays--go prepared. And by prepared I mean: have a shopping list, search for the deals, grab your coupons, and (most importantly) dress the part. That means comfort. I snagged these shoes from target, and they are unbelievably comfortable (cushion fit = walking on a bouncy cloud). I passed on the jacket and opted for a scarf. Once you get in the mall, you'll regret that you have to carry the jacket around anyway. A scarf can easily be tucked away inside your purse or shopping bag without adding extra weight. To top it off (literally), a simple baseball hat (but this is mostly because washing your hair is overrated, especially on the weekend, am I right?).

And the best part: after a hard days work (of shopping), you can go home, sit in front of the tree with a big cup of hot cocoa, put on some Christmas music, and munch away on some homemade Chex mix (one of my favorite traditions, and I shared the recipe last year here). Oh, and maybe start wrapping some of those presents you just bought!
